Why KCR silent when AP diverting water to R’seema through Sangameswaram: Bandi Sanjay
On the fourth day of the Praja Sangrama Yatra, Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay has covered several villages and towns in erstwhile Mahabubnagar district. He interacted with people and heard their issues patiently.
Addressing a meeting, Sanjay asked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as to why he is silent when Andhra Pradesh is diverting water to Rayalaseema region through lift irrigation scheme at Sangameswaram. He alleged that the KCR is cheating the people of Telangana than rulers of combined AP. “Only the family members of KCR have benefitted with the creation of separate state,” he slammed.
Bandi Sanjay has promised people of allocating 15 tmcft of water to the RDS for bringing one lakh acres under irrigation once the BJP comes to power in Telangana state. “If required, lifts will be fixed for providing water to tail-end farm lands in Alampur constituency,” he assured. Local BJP leaders were also present.
