No-Fly Zone Declared Around Modi's Amaravati Event

In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Amaravati, officials have implemented stringent security measures. Citing recent incidents, the security arrangements have been further intensified. As part of these measures, a five-kilometre radius around the venue of the Prime Minister’s meeting and Gannavaram Airport has been declared a ‘No-Fly Zone’. Drone Corporation officials clarified this restriction.

They stated that these regulations would remain in effect until the conclusion of the Prime Minister’s visit. They warned that strict action would be taken even if drones or balloons are flown within this zone. Additionally, citing security reasons, Guntur Range Inspector General Sarvesh Tripathi appealed to the public to refrain from releasing balloons anywhere in the area.

A Command Control Room has been set up at the venue, and continuous surveillance is being conducted through CCTV cameras.
