Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan Welcome PM Modi Amidst Massive Crowd in Amaravati
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Andhra Pradesh to attend the re-inauguration ceremony marking the resumption of works on the dream capital of the people of Andhra Pradesh—Amaravati. After participating in a program held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled directly to Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada via an official aircraft.
At the airport, he was received by the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, along with several state ministers. He then proceeded by Indian Air Force helicopter to Velagapudi, located in the capital region.
At Velagapudi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was extended a grand welcome by Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazir, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The dignitaries escorted the Prime Minister to the public meeting venue.
During the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay foundation stones and inaugurate a total of 18 projects in addition to resuming the development works of Amaravati. The meeting venue is already packed with lakhs of people. A large number of Amaravati farmers have gathered at the event, expressing immense joy that their long-cherished dream is finally taking shape.
