Prime Minister Modi Presses the Button to Restart Amaravati Reconstruction
Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally relaunched the reconstruction of Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, in a grand public event held today. In the presence of lakhs of people at a massive gathering in Amaravati, Narendra Modi performed a ceremonial groundbreaking from the event stage, symbolically marking the commencement of the capital city’s redevelopment.
By pressing a button, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated projects valued at a total of ₹58,000 crore, including the capital city works. Of this, ₹49,040 crore has been allocated specifically for Amaravati’s reconstruction efforts. Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also laid the foundation for several central government initiatives worth ₹8 crore.
In total, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 18 projects during today’s event.
