Sai Sudharsan Breaks Sachin Tendulkar's Record
Young Indian batter Sai Sudharsan has broken a rare record previously held by legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Representing Gujarat Titans in the T20 format, Sai Sudharsan has become the fastest Indian player to reach 2,000 runs in T20 cricket.
He achieved this feat during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he delivered an impressive performance. Playing in excellent form, Sai Sudharsan scored a crucial 48 runs off just 23 deliveries, including nine boundaries. With this performance, he reached the 2,000-run milestone in just 54 innings.
Previously, this record was held by Sachin Tendulkar, who took 59 innings to achieve the same mark. However, the overall fastest to 2,000 T20 runs remains Shaun Marsh, who accomplished the feat in just 53 innings, a record that still stands.
