Turmoil in Bollywood: Rape Case Filed Against Prominent Actor

A rape case was registered on Sunday against Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan, according to Mumbai Police. The case was filed based on a complaint from a woman who alleged that Ajaz Khan raped her under the pretext of offering help to enter the film industry.

A senior officer from the Charkop Police Station stated that a 30-year-old woman recently lodged a complaint alleging that Ajaz Khan promised her opportunities in films and then sexually assaulted her. Based on this complaint, a case has been registered against the actor under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code related to rape, the officer confirmed, adding that an investigation is currently underway.

Earlier, Ajaz Khan had faced allegations related to the web show House Arrest, which he hosted on the Ullu App. The show was accused of featuring obscene content, and a case was filed against him along with several others in connection with those charges. The registration of a rape case following the latest complaint has now triggered widespread commotion within the Bollywood industry.
