We All Have a Responsibility to Stand by Him: Nara Lokesh
Nara Lokesh, Minister for Information Technology and Education in Andhra Pradesh, has called on the public to support Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, stating that at the age of 75, Chandrababu Naidu is working tirelessly for the future of the state and for the bright future of children. Lokesh made these remarks during a coordination meeting with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and workers held at the local weekly market premises in Satyavedu, Tirupati district. During the meeting, Lokesh listened to the issues faced by the party workers.
Speaking at the event, Nara Lokesh declared that the Telugu Desam Party fully supports every decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the fight against the enemies of the nation. “Terrorists killed innocent people in Pahalgam. We will support every decision taken by Prime Minister Modi. Even if a hundred Pakistans come at us, we have the missile called Narendra Modi. He has sternly warned Pakistan with the aim that those who kill Indians must not be spared,” said Lokesh. He also praised the soldiers who are fighting for the country without regard for their own lives.
Nara Lokesh affirmed his commitment to meeting party workers first during his constituency tours. He stated that without the workers, there would be no Telugu Desam Party, and that their sacrifices are the inspiration behind the party. He cited the courage of Anjireddy, who fought during the local body elections under the YSR Congress Party regime when nomination papers were torn up; Manjulareddy, who shed blood to prevent rigging at a polling booth; and Thota Chandrayya, who raised slogans of “Jai Chandrababu” and “Jai Telugu Desam” even with a knife to his neck, as personal inspirations. Lokesh promised that those who work hard will receive recognition and that party committees would be formed before the Mahanadu conference.
Lokesh emphasized that he is striving to implement reforms within the party and suggested that any issue should be resolved amicably through discussions. “From 2019 to 2024, we faced many hardships. Both Chandrababu Garu and I were subjected to difficulties. Now, we are committed to solving these problems. Since there are specific issues in this constituency, two observers have been appointed. Every development in this region is being reported to Chandrababu Garu, who continues to give top priority to party workers,” he said.
Lokesh stated that the alliance was formed solely for the benefit of the state and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fulfilling all the requests related to Andhra Pradesh. He recalled that the privatization of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant was prevented and that the Prime Minister expressed his support for the construction of Amaravati. He also mentioned that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is working towards ensuring safe drinking water through tap connections to every household. In conclusion, Lokesh once again urged everyone to stand by Chandrababu Naidu, who is making relentless efforts for the sake of the people and their children’s future.
The event was attended by Minister Anagani Satya Prasad, TDP State President Palla Srinivasa Rao, Zone In-Charge Deepak Reddy, TDP Tirupati Parliamentary President G. Narasimha Yadav, observers Chandrasekhar Naidu and Babu, and constituency coordinator Dr. Sripathi Babu, among others.
