Nara Lokesh Makes Key Statement on Extension of Mega DSC Deadline
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is set to fill 16,347 teacher posts through the Mega DSC recruitment drive. The application process for these posts concluded on Thursday. The online examinations are scheduled to begin on June 6. Meanwhile, a significant number of candidates have been demanding a 90-day preparation window. This demand has been repeatedly raised since the announcement of the DSC notification.
In response to these demands, Nara Lokesh, Minister for Information Technology and Education, issued a critical statement. He noted that the YSR Congress Party had even approached the Supreme Court in an attempt to halt the DSC process. Addressing the concerns regarding the exam timeline, Nara Lokesh stated, “Some people are asking for more time. However, we announced the syllabus back in December of last year. That means we have already given a seven-month window.” His remarks signalled a clear indication that the government is not considering extending the deadline for the Mega DSC.
The official schedule for the Andhra Pradesh Mega DSC 2025 is as follows:
Online fee payment and application submission: April 20 to May 15
Mock tests: From May 20
