Write down the names... We will show them a movie: Jagan issues another warning
YSRCP President Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again launched a scathing attack on the coalition government and certain officials, issuing a stern warning that those involved in injustices will not be spared. Speaking at a meeting with YSRCP local body representatives, Jagan Mohan Reddy declared, “Write down the names in any book you want. If you wish to commit injustices, go ahead. If you want to strike, strike. But our time will come, and when it does, we’ll show a film to every one of you who committed injustices. Even the retired ones will be dragged back. Those who flee the country will be brought back.”
Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that the current government in the state is functioning like a “demonic regime.” He stated, “In this Kali Yuga, one cannot afford to be fearful to do politics. One must not be intimidated by cases or imprisonment. Only then can we continue in politics. The kind of politics Chandrababu Naidu is practising is exactly like that,” he remarked.
He accused the ruling coalition of murdering democracy in broad daylight, citing irregularities in local body by-elections as clear evidence. In places like Tiruvuru, despite the YSRCP having the numerical strength, Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) still contested the elections and that elections were halted when YSRCP had an advantage. He further alleged that the police acted in a biased manner by arresting YSRCP members while allowing TDP members to go free.
Expressing outrage, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu was responsible for the current state of affairs, having “sown the seeds” for it. He accused the administration of imprisoning even women for extended periods without regard. “If a bail is granted in one case, a new case is immediately filed,” he stated, adding that the same approach was taken in the case of Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
He also strongly criticized the treatment of Dalit MP Nandigam Suresh, claiming that he was unjustly held in jail for more than one and a half months and was again imprisoned under a fresh case after his release.
Reassuring party workers, Jagan Mohan Reddy stated, “Tomorrow, a YSRCP worker will definitely become Number One. We stand with our workers.” He reiterated that those who committed injustices will face consequences without exception.
