Niharika’s First Production Honored for National Integration Themes: Nagababu Reacts

Actor and producer Nagababu expressed his joy over his daughter Niharika Konidela’s debut production receiving prestigious accolades. The film Committee Kurrollu, produced by Niharika, won two awards under the Gaddar Awards announced by the Government of Telangana. Nagababu shared his happiness through a post on Twitter.

In his post, Nagababu stated that the Telangana government has enhanced the honor of revolutionary poet Gaddar by instituting film awards in his name. On this occasion, he extended special congratulations to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy.

Nagababu said he was delighted that Committee Kurrollu received the award for Best Film for its focus on themes such as national integration, communal harmony, and the upliftment of marginalized communities. He further remarked that the recognition of the film’s director, Yadu Vamshi, as Best Debut Director was a well-deserved encouragement for his talent.

Recalling his own experience, Nagababu mentioned that the first film he produced, Rudraveena, had received the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. He called it a happy coincidence that his daughter’s debut production received a similar honor. On this occasion, he individually congratulated producer Niharika, director Yadu Vamshi, and all the actors and technical crew of the film unit.
