Fourth flight carrying 198 Indian leaves for Delhi from Bucharest
Hyderabad: Indians stranded in Ukraine are being repatriated on special flights. So far 709 Indians have been evacuated over the Romanian capital Bucharest. Following the closure of Ukrainian airspace, India is facilitating the evacuation of stranded Indians from Ukraine through its land border crossings with Romania, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
They returned home on three flights. The fourth flight from Bucharest with 198 students left for India. IN all, 219 people arrived in Mumbai on the first flight from Bucharest. The second flight of 250 people reached Delhi. A total of 240 people arrived in Delhi on the third flight from Budapest.
India has named the evacuation mission ‘Operation Ganga’.
