MP Vijaya Sai, Minister Amarnath react over Prashant Kishor’s poll pact suggestion to Cong
YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijaya Sai Reddy and Industries Minister Gudivada Amarath have responded to suggestion made by election strategist Prashant Kishor to the Congress over poll alliance with the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh for upcoming general elections in 2024.
The minister stated that there is no rule for any political party to follow suggestions made by poll experts. “YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was instrumental for the defeat of Congress at national-level in 2014,” he mentioned. Amarnath has made it clear that the YSRCP will never enter into an alliance with the Congress.
Vijaya Sai said that Y.S. Jagan has to respond on suggestion made by Prashant Kishor and not him. “As poll alliance is a party’s policy-level decision, our party chief will take final call and not me,” he added. Further, the MP said that interests of state are paramount while YSRCP entering into election pact with other political party.
