2 Hyderabad student die in mishap in US
Hyderabad, April 24: Two students from Hyderabad died in an accident while three others injured in a road accident in Chicago, USA.
Peechetti Vamsikrishna (23) and Pawan of Khammam district died on the spot. Condition of one of the injured was stated to be critical.
Vamsikrishna went to US on December 28, 2021 to do MS at Southern Illinois varsity. About 10 students went to shopping in separate cars in the early hours of Thursday (4.30 pm on April 22 as per IST). While they were returning, another car driven by a woman hit their vehicle. In this mishap, Pawan, who was driving and Vamsikrishna, sitting in the back seat died on the spot.
Kalyan, Karthik and Srikanth received severe injuries. Kalyan condition said to be critical.
The woman driver died due the injuries. Bodies of Pawan and Vamsikrishna are expected to reach Hyderabad on Monday
