Tension prevails in Guntur dist as YSRCP workers pelt stones at Nara Lokesh

Guntur (Andhra Pradesh): Tension prevailed at Thummapudi in Duggirala mandal of Guntur district on Thursday evening. Ruling YSRCP activists pelted stones at Opposition TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh and the TDP ranks. The incident took place when Nara Lokesh went to console the family of the rape victim
.
Upon learning that Nara Lokesh had come to visit the family of the rape victim, MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy's followers reached there on a large scale. On the occasion, there was a fierce conflict between the two groups belonging to the ruling and opposition parties. 

After that YSRCP workers started pelting stones at Nara Lokesh and TDP activists. A large stone fell very close to Nara Lokesh where he was standing, however, he was not injured. It may be recalled that earlier also similar incidents took place in the Guntur district when Nara Lokesh was touring. Later, the leaders belonging to the TDP and YSRCP levelled allegations and counter allegations over the incident holding each other responsible.
