Revanth takes potshots at KCR for denying permission to Rahul's OU visit
Hyderabad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is coming to Hyderabad on May 6 for the Telangana tour. As a part of his, Rahul was scheduled to visit Osmania University on May 7, but the government has refused to grant permission for him to pay a visit to the university campus.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy reacted strongly to this and pointed out that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is scared of Rahul Gandhi, hence, he is not allowing Rahul Gandhi to visit Osmania University. He took potshots at KCR and termed him as a coward ruler, whose tenure would come to an end in the next Assembly elections. He questioned why Rahul Gandhi was being prevented from visiting OU.
"If the student unions protested against the denial of permission for Rahul's visit, they have been arrested and when Jagga Reddy went to meet the Student Unions, he, too, was taken into custody. Everyone should be released immediately," Revanth Reddy demanded.
