Roja slams Chandrababu, Nara Lokesh for criticising CM Jagan’s rule

Tirupati, May 3: Tourism and Culture Minister R.K. Roja faulted Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh for terming Andhra Pradesh as ‘Narakandhra Pradesh’ under the rule of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking to the media, she stated that the CM had cleared dues of the TDP government and implementing every social welfare scheme without giving scope for corruption. “People voted YSRCP to power as they are not happy with the TDP rule,” she mentioned.

The minister stated that the CM is visiting Tirupati for the first time on May 5 after the reorganisation of districts. Jagan will launch the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme at the S.V. University stadium. The CM will open cancer hospital and lay foundation stone for children’s hospital to be built by the TTD here.

Roja alleged that Andhra Pradesh was number one in atrocities against women and human trafficking in previous TDP rule while the crime rate reduced considerably in the state as per the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) 2021 report.
