Suspension of internet in Konaseema reflects YSRCP’s inefficient rule: Chandrababu

Amaravati, May 31: In a series of tweets, Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday slammed the YSRCP government for continuing suspension of internet services in Konaseema district for the last one week. “Interruption to internet reflects inefficient rule of the YSRCP,” he said.

“The AP government should understand that internet has become part of common man’s life,” he stated and criticised the ruling YSR Congress for not facilitating IT employees to work from home when it is not in a position to create IT jobs.

Chandrababu further said that it is not correct on part of the government to suspend internet services for one week when small businessmen are dependent on net banking for day-to-day transactions. He demanded that the AP government should restore internet immediately as lakhs of people are affected. The police stopped internet in and around Amalapuram after violence erupted over renaming of Konaseema district.
