Ola electric scooter will hit UK streets soon, says CEO Bhavish Agarwal

New Delhi: Ola electric scooter, which has had an unstoppable success in the electric scooter market, is said to be foraying into the foreign market. While Ola scooters are already running all over the country, the sector is gearing up to hit the foreign roads soon.

Ola Founder-cum-CEO Bhavish Agarwal said that Ola S1 Pro scooters will be launched in the United Kingdom (UK) soon. He met British High Commissioner Alex Ellis on Thursday. Bhavish Agarwal explained to the British High Commissioner the technology used in the manufacture of Ola scooters. Similarly, they spoke on research and development issues to be undertaken in the UK-India partnership.

The British High Commissioner discussed mainly India-UK trade relations. He is reported to have responded positively to Ola's introduction of the scooter in the UK. With this, Bhavish Agarwal tweeted that Ola S1 Pro will be running in London soon. He also revealed that a special Union Jack colour e-Scooter will be released for London.
