Hayatnagar police serve notice to Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad, June 14: Hayatnagar police on Tuesday served notice to Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay under CrPC Section 41 after a skit performed mocking Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Telangana Formation Day (June 2) held at Nagole here. He was asked to appear before the police within three days.
 
The police already arrested BJP leader Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, who was organiser of the programme, on Friday and he got bail today. BJP cultural team member Daruvu Yellanna and BJP leader Rani Rudrama also arrested by police and both will be produced before the court today.
 
The cops booked the BJP leaders including Bandi Sanjay under various sections for promoting enmity and disturbing peace in the society, and insulting a person, who is holding constitutional post.
 
Meanwhile, Bandi condemned the police assault on Gouravelli land oustees. “BJP will fight till justice is done to them by the state government,” he mentioned.
