Agnipath stir: Cops warn to open fire against protesters at Secunderabad rail station

Hyderabad, June 17: Hundreds of Army job aspirants forcibly entered into the Secunderabad railway station on Friday morning and set passenger train coaches on fire on platform numbers 1,2 and 3. They damaged furniture, fans, TV sets, CCTV cameras on platforms.
 
Railway police, who were in few, could not stop them as they went on vandalising spree creating panic among passengers. They torched bikes at parcel section and pelted stones towards trains. Protesters also damaged RTC buses outside the railway station. On receiving information, the local police reached railway station.    
 
One of the protesters said that the Modi-led Central government deceived them without continuing the Army recruitment process by announcing new Agnipath Scheme. 
 
Job aspirants made it clear that they will continue stir in railway station till the Centre scraps new scheme and holds Army exam. Meanwhile, the police warned to open fire at them if they fail to leave the railway station.
