CM Jagan misused power for YSRCP plenary: Atchannaidu

Srikakulam, July 8: Andhra Pradesh TDP president Atchannaidu on Friday alleged that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy misused his power to favour two-day YSRCP plenary being held at Mangalagiri in Guntur district.

Talking to reporters, he said that the APSRTC suffered Rs 10 crore loss as buses were hired for the YSRCP plenary. He criticised the CM for increasing RTC bus charges three times within a short span of time. Describing YSRCP plenary as drama gallery, Atchannaidu slammed the ruling state government for not giving permission to hire RTC buses and threatening owners not to rent private vehicles to TDP Mahanadu.

The TDP chief faulted the AP government for declaring holidays to the Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) and forcibly using buses of private schools for ferrying YSRCP activists from various places to plenary. He pointed out that commuters are facing difficulties because of flexis set up on either side of the national highway near plenary.
