Will order probe if KCR submits proof of foreign hand behind cloudburst: Kishan Reddy
Delhi, July 18: Union Minister Kishan Reddy asked Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to submit evidence to the Central government so that probe can be ordered regarding the foreign hand behind creation of cloudburst.
During his flood-hit Bhadrachalam tour on Sunday, KCR alleged that foreign conspiracy triggered cloudburst which resulted Godavari floods in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and also floods in Ladakh and Uttarakhand in the past.
In series of tweets, Kishan Reddy said KCR’s charges are of serious nature and needs investigation. “The Government of India takes such statements very seriously when they were levelled by a sitting CM,” he mentioned.
After inspecting flood-affected areas and interacting with people, KCR announced financial aid of Rs 10,000 and 20 kg rice for each of flood-hit family in Bhadrachalam. He also declared that temple town of Bhadrachalam will be protected from floods permanently by allocating Rs 1,000 crore. The CM was accompanied by ministers, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and DGP Mahender Reddy.
