Land allotted to ESI hospital in Ramagundam not suitable, Kishan Reddy to KCR

Hyderabad, July 23: Union Minister Kishan Reddy wrote an open letter to Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) seeking allocation of 5-acre land in another location for construction of 100-bed ESI hospital in Ramagundam. He brought to the CM’s notice that present land sanctioned to hospital construction on the outskirts of Ramagundam was not suitable.

To back up his claim, Kishan Reddy attached an experts committee report to his letter. The panel found that land was earlier used as dump yard by municipality. Moreover, two crematoriums are located close to the site and no approach road to the proposed land, they said and added that land is very far away from the bus stand and railway station. The Central government also sanctioned 100-bed hospital for Shamshabad and Sangareddy district.
