MLA Raja Singh angry on cops for serving two notices under Sec 41A

Hyderabad, August 25: MLA Raja Singh, who was suspended from the BJP for making controversial comments on Prophet Muhammad in a video, expressed anger over Shahinayathgunj and Mangalhat police for serving two notices at a time under Section 41A of CrPC. He alleged that Telangana cops are plotting to arrest him once again.

“Why police served notices to me today for the cases registered in February and April 2022,” he asked. In February 20 this year, FIR was booked at Mangalhat police station against Raja Singh on the directions of the Election Commission of India after he uploaded a video on social media. In the video, the MLA warned that people not voting for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh elections will have to leave the state.

Shahinayathgunj cops registered a case against Raja Singh on April 12, 2022 for making comments against a religion during Shobha Yatra organised on the occasion of Srirama Navami.
