Jagan focuses on strengthening YSRCP social media, Sajjala’s son to lead wing
Tadepalli, September 13: With an aim to bring YSRCP to power in 2024 and to counter Opposition effectively, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday focused on strengthening the YSRCP social media wing. Till date, YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy is looking after party’s social media.
The YSRCP chief handed over responsibility of social media wing to Bhargava Reddy, son of AP Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. He held a two-hour meeting with Bhargava and other YSRCP leaders involved in social media activities.
Jagan Reddy felt a counter strategy team is needed in the wake of criticism from all sides. He is of the view that there will be better coordination if mainstream media and social media are handled by a single person. The CM wants to put an end to distorted facts regarding his government’s social welfare schemes and developmental works by extensively using social media.
