KTR’s son Himanshu dons a teacher’s hat; takes class for govt school students
Hyderabad: Minister for Municipal Administration and Information and Technology T KTR's son Kalvakuntla Himanshu Rao has been displaying leadership qualities since his student days. It is known that recently Himanshu won the Oakridge International School Student Council elections.
He became the head of the Creative Action Service (CAS) department. Himanshu is also leading in social service. Britain's Tessy Ojo CBE also presented the Diana International Award to Himanshu.
Now the successor of the Kalvakuntla family has donned the role of a teacher. Recently, he delivered a lecture to the students of Khajaguda Government School on the subject of ‘sustainable development and progress goals’. Himanshu disclosed this through his social media account.
"Who says working on a Saturday is boring? It's an opportunity to explain the United Nations' sustainable development work to children," he said. The event was held at Oakridge International School. It’s laudable that at a young age he is serving society and delivering lectures to students of government school, who can draw inspiration from him, and work hard to climb the success ladder in their lives.
