Don’t politicise PM Modi visit to Vizag, MP Vijayasai urges Opposition
Visakhapatnam, November 3: YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy made an appeal to Opposition not to politicise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Visakhapatnam. Talking to reporters here, he said that the PM will inaugurate works worth Rs 12,000 crore.
The MP mentioned that state governments have to extend cooperation for the PM’s tour. “We are making fool-proof arrangements for the PM visit,” he stated and added that two open grounds spread over 29 acres in the Andhra University are being readied for public meeting to be addressed by Modi. Around 2 lakh people are expected to attend the meeting, he said.
To a question, Vijayasai has stated that no one can stop Visakhapatnam from becoming AP’s administrative capital. “We are committed to fight against privatisation of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant,” he reiterated and made it clear that the state interests are more important for the YSRCP government. Other YSRCP leaders also present.
