I am not alone, 5 cr people of AP are with me: Naidu
Kurnool, Nov 18: The former chief minister and TDP national president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday came down heavily on the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government for creating hurdles to his meeting at the party office in Kurnool.
An angry Chandrababu termed the Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a traitor of Rayalaseema. Knowing pretty well that the YSRCP will not come back to power, Jagan is trying to create rift among the people on regional lines. Calling those who tried to cause disturbances at the meeting after unveiling the statue of the Late NT Rama Rao, as Paytm batch, Chandrababu said that "if necessary I will stay here overnight to see your end."
Observing that it is the TDP which completely uprooted factionism in Rayalaseema, the former chief minister cautioned the people of the region to be a bit careful about the political rowdies. He cautioned such anti-social elements to be careful as it is not difficult to deal with them.
Maintaining that he is not alone, Chandrababu made it clear that the five crore people of Andhra Pradesh are behind him as he never resorted to cheap politics like the YSRCP leaders. He said that anyone found misbehaving with women in Rayalaseema will be dealt with streny once the TDP is back in power.
Earliler, after visiting the TIDCO housing units, Chandrababu told media persons that the housing units prove beyond doubt how the administration will function if an inefficient Chief Minister is ruling the State. Though the construction of these housing units began during the TDP regime, most of the units remained incomplete and the YSRCP did not take the initiative to complete the project, he added.
Inviting several local leaders into the party, Chandrababu reiterated that the TDP always stood behind the Backward Classes (BCs) and did justice to them. The YSRCP is always trying to suppress the community, he said and added that the credit of creating 33 per cent reservations for BCs in employment goes only to the TDP.
The TDP always strived for the uplift of BCs and the BC Sub-Plan and the Adarana scheme were introduced only keeping the welfare of the community, Chandrababu stated. It is only the TDP that gave top priority for the community even in other areas, including politics, he maintained and pointed out that the presidents of both the Telugu States units of the TDP belong to the BC community.
Stating that the YSRCP always utters falsehood and takes the people for a ride, he said that almost all the ruling party leaders have criminal record. Chandrababu called upon the people of the State to join hands to bring down this Government which is only working to damage the State.
The former chief minister is of the opinion that the YSRCP Government is claiming to make Visakhapatnam as the capital of the State not because of love on the city but because of the affection on the lands in the city. The ruling party leaders always focus on illegally occupying lands and Vizag is no exception. Chandrabau said that the State be saved from such 'goondas'.
