Vijayasai Reddy accuses Chandrababu of aligning with BJP for CM ambitions
Amaravati: Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy has criticized Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) driven by his ambition to become the Chief Minister again. He accused Naidu of jeopardizing Andhra Pradesh's fight for special status for his personal gain.
Vijayasai Reddy also slammed him for allowing the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and for deciding to stop the socio-economic survey, which could affect caste enumeration efforts. He further alleged that Naidu plans to reintroduce the National Pension System for government employees. On another note, Vijayasai Reddy is set to contest from the Nellore parliamentary seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
