Perni Nani demands investigation of Chandrababu, Lokesh in Visakhapatnam drugs case
Amaravati: The seizure of 25,000 kilograms of narcotics in Visakhapatnam by the CBI has caused a stir. TDP leaders allege YSRCP leaders' involvement behind this. Against this backdrop, YSRCP leaders have filed a complaint with the state's Chief Electoral Officer, demanding action against Chandrababu Naidu for his tweet filled with falsehoods.
Speaking to the media, former minister Perni Nani criticized Chandrababu Naidu for spreading venom against YSRCP without knowing the companies involved in the drug dealings. He alleged that Chandrababu came out even before the CBI could open its mouth, hinting at Chandrababu's family and children having connections with these companies. He requested the Election Commission to investigate Chandrababu and Lokesh.
Perni Nani mentioned that Chandrababu had previously brought a minister from Singapore, who is now in jail, and criticized his history of connections with international mafias. He condemned Chandrababu's willingness to stoop to any level for politics and urged the Election Commission to prevent TDP from using drugs for votes. He also accused Chandrababu's wife Bhuvaneswari of violating the election code by distributing cheques and demanded action against her.
