CM Jagan Questions Support for Uncle's Killer in Election Campaign Launch
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the National President of YSR Congress Party, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, today kickstarted the election campaign with a public meeting in Proddatur. In his inaugural speech, he expressed delight at the large gathering, suggesting that such a large meeting might never have been held in this district before. He thanked everyone for their role in his victories so far.
CM Jagan claimed that millions of hearts across the state are ready to support their party and government for the 2024 elections. He emphasized that their flag does not align with any other but stands with the people, fluttering proudly.
He called for the defeat of the "evil quartet" that obstructs the development of the poor, positioning himself as Arjuna guided by the people's Krishna in the electoral battle that lies just 45 days ahead. He urged everyone to vote twice for the fan symbol, identifying liars and deceivers as their opponents. He criticized those who do not have the habit of doing good for the people, accusing them of forming alliances against him.
CM Jagan criticized Chandrababu Naidu for his 45 years of experience in deceiving people, plotting, and backstabbing, as well as his disregard for manifesto promises post-elections. He accused Naidu and associated media and individuals of experienced in spreading lies and dividing families, pointing out that recent events have made it clear who killed his uncle and who is behind it.
He questioned the support being shown to his uncle's killer, asking what it signifies if they walk hand in hand with those who were defeated in the MLC elections. He remarked on the irony of his opponents claiming to be hurt by politics, wondering if there could be a greater injustice in an era other than Kali Yuga.
CM Jagan expressed pride in standing with the people against the "low-level politics" of Chandrababu Naidu, reaffirming his faith in the people, God, dharma, and justice.
