KK Meets CM Revanth Reddy, Discusses Joining Congress
Hyderabad: The BRS party is continuously facing shocks. K. Keshava Rao, the Secretary General of BRS and Rajya Sabha member bid adieu to BRS. It was unexpected for someone like KK, who held very high positions within BRS, to leave the party. Recently, he met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and discussed joining the Congress party. After the discussions, KK left Revanth Reddy's residence. KK's daughter, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi, is also expected to join Congress. After a decade, KK is returning to his roots in Congress.
It is known that KK had met with BRS leader KCR at his farmhouse in Erravelli yesterday. There have been serious reports in the media about KK's potential party change, which KCR questioned. "Have you considered what the people will think if you change parties after enjoying power for ten years?" KCR reportedly asked.
KK, without responding, stated that his career started with Congress and that he would end his life in Congress. On the other side, signals indicate that BRS MLA and former minister Kadiyam Srihari is also considering leaving the party.
