Amanchi Krishna Mohan Resigns from YSRCP
Former MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan, a key leader in the united Prakasam district, has resigned from the YSRCP today. He announced his resignation from the primary membership of the party in a statement.
He had aspirations to contest from Chirala in the elections. However, the YSRCP leadership decided to allocate the Chirala ticket to Karanam Balaram's son, Karanam Venkatesh, the sitting MLA.
Similarly, in Parchur, where he previously served as the in-charge, he faced setbacks. The YSRCP ticket for Parchur was given to Yedam Balaji. Disheartened by these developments, Amanchi Krishna Mohan, after discussions with his supporters, decided to bid farewell to YSRCP.
He has announced that he will reveal his future course of action in front of the public on the 9th of this month. Meanwhile, there is speculation that Amanchi might join the Congress party and contest from Chirala.
