CM Revanth Reddy's bold challenge to KCR: Promises jail meals over disparaging remarks
Hyderabad: In a sharp rebuke to former CM KCR, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy warned that he is not someone to be taken lightly like Jana Reddy. If provoked, he threatened to make KCR eat jail food, indicating a severe level of confrontation.
During his speech at the 'Jana Jatara' event in Tukkuguda, Revanth Reddy remarked on the patience they had shown towards KCR's family, including incidents involving his daughter's jail time and KCR's injuries. He made it clear that they would no longer tolerate unfounded remarks from KCR. In a sarcastic tone, he mentioned building a double bedroom house for KCR's family in jail.
Revanth Reddy cautioned that if Congress workers decide to act, KCR won't have a single thread left on him. He warned against speaking without thought, referring to KCR and his statements disparagingly. Revanth Reddy threw down a challenge to KCR, daring him to seek votes where BRS had built double bedroom houses, while Congress would ask for votes where Indiramma houses existed. He accused KCR of oppressing the people during his ten-year rule, equating it to a hundred years of destruction and criticized KCR's command over language.
Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of Telangana sending 14 MPs to the Centre for securing funds and motivated his supporters to outvote both BRS and BJP. He questioned the crowd whether they preferred Modi, who changes outfits hourly, or Rahul Gandhi, who endures the sun for the people.
Highlighting the first 100 days of his administration, he assured the fulfillment of promises with integrity and asked for support to win 14 seats in Telangana for Congress, stressing that the election was not just about winning but about safeguarding the nation.
