YS Sharmila accuses CM Jagan of deception over employment promises
Amaravati: YS Sharmila, the State Congress President, has once again criticized AP Chief Minister Jagan. She remarked that previously Chandrababu committed deceit with promises of jobs if one wanted them, and now Jagan Reddy has unfolded a saga of deception promising jobs if people wanted him in power. She criticised that YSRCP claimed to fill 2.32 lakh government positions and 23 thousand teacher posts upon assuming power, but they should introspect how many jobs they have actually provided in these five years.
She highlighted that despite promises of annual job calendars, mega DSCs (District Selection Committee), and continuous notifications from the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), they have deeply disappointed the unemployed youth.
Sharmila made sharp comments calling Jagan the "Brand Ambassador for Deception". While the YCP government boasts about creating 2 lakh jobs through the volunteer system for governmental needs, she questioned if even a single respectable job position has been genuinely filled. Currently, 2.25 lakh positions remain vacant across various departments, showcasing, according to her, the hallmark of Jagan's governance.
