Conspiracy to implicate Bonda Uma: Varla Ramaiah files complaint to AP CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena
Amaravati: Senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Varla Ramaiah, has accused the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh of conspiring to implicate their party leader and Vijayawada candidate, Bonda Uma, in a recent stone-pelting incident on Chief Minister Jagan in Vijayawada. Ramaiah reported the matter to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Andhra Pradesh, MK Meena, highlighting that the incident was a staged drama orchestrated as political sabotage. He expressed concern that no response has yet been received from the CEO.
In addition, Ramaiah has also brought this issue to the attention of the Director-General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh. He criticized the partiality of the Vijayawada Commissioner, accusing him of favoring the ruling party, which he claims undermines the trust in local law enforcement.
He strongly argued that the stone-pelting incident was a scripted drama aimed at politically damaging Bonda Uma, especially given Uma's expected victory in the upcoming assembly elections. He suggested that this act was a desperate move by CM Jagan and his party to divert attention and gain sympathy amid predictions of electoral defeat.
Ramaiah declared his intent to possibly meet with CEO Meena on Wednesday evening to discuss further actions and ensure an impartial investigation into the incident.
