Pawan Kalyan Criticizes MLA Rapaka Varaprasad for Corruption

In a recent public meeting in Malikipuram of Rajolu constituency in Konaseema district, Pawan Kalyan, chief of the Janasena Party, fiercely criticized the sitting MLA, Rapaka Varaprasad. During his speech at the Varahi Vijayabheri Sabha, Kalyan accused Rapaka of being involved in a multimillion corruption scandal concerning land allocations meant for building homes for the poor. Kalyan alleged that Rapaka owned a significant stake in this corrupt activity.

Kalyan further criticized Rapaka for failing to construct houses for the needy, while managing to build a large building for himself on five acres in Katthimandalam of Malikipuram Mandal. He accused Rapaka of betraying the trust of the people who voted him into power.

He also accused Rapaka of forcibly acquiring sand and iron from local traders and building a private residence with government funds. Kalyan pointed out that despite the burning of the chariot in Antarvedi, Rapaka has not spoken a word about it till now.

Referring to a 2019 incident, Kalyan criticized Rapaka for forgetting his request for a fire station in Sakhinetipalli after joining hands with YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also mentioned a college in Malikipuram built on donated land, claiming that YSR Congress leaders have set their sights on this property, valued at around 500 crore rupees, and are attempting to forcibly take over by transferring the lecturers.

Kalyan warned that in another 18 days, his party would win and ensure that each corrupt individual is held accountable and fined.
