TDP's Madhavi Reddy Secures Victory in YSRCP Stronghold Kadapa
In a surprising turn of events, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has emerged victorious in the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) stronghold of Kadapa district. TDP candidate Reddappa Gari Madhavi Reddy won from the Kadapa Assembly constituency, defeating the YSRCP candidate and Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha. Madhavi Reddy currently leads by over 5,000 votes, with the final majority expected to be confirmed by the evening.
In Proddatur, TDP leader Varadarajulu Reddy won against YSRCP candidate Rachamallu.
Similarly, in Uravakonda, TDP’s Payyavula Keshav, in Prattipadu, TDP’s Satyaprabha, in Rajanagaram, Janasena’s Bathula Ramakrishna, in Tanuku, TDP’s Arimilli Radhakrishna, and in Gajuwaka, Palla Srinivasa Rao defeated Minister Gudivada Amarnath.
Moreover, TDP candidate Pitani Satyanarayana won in Achanta, TDP’s Bonel Vijay in Parvathipuram, TDP’s Raghu Ramakrishna Raju in Undi, and Janasena’s Ramanjaneyulu won with a majority of 66,000 votes in Bhimavaram.
