Former CM Jagan Appoints New Private Security
Former Chief Minister Jagan has appointed new private security personnel. On Monday, 30 members of the security team, hired through a private security agency, arrived at Jagan's camp office in Tadepalli. They will be serving as his security. Due to the loss of his official position and the absence of a status as an opposition leader, Jagan had to arrange for private security on his own, as government-provided security is no longer available.
From now on, Jagan will continue only as a former Chief Minister and an ordinary MLA. Consequently, there will be changes in his security arrangements. It is reported that Jagan has proactively prepared private security personnel in anticipation of these changes.
It is well-known that even in the past, during his tenure as the opposition leader and during his padayatra (foot march), Jagan had employed a large number of private security personnel. Additionally, while serving as the Chief Minister, he had introduced a special law to establish a Special Security Group for the security of himself and his family.
