Government to Make Decision on Volunteers Soon: Minister Parthasarathi

As tomorrow marks July 1st, the Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to distribute increased pensions. Beneficiaries will receive a total of ₹7,000, which includes the increased pension of ₹3,000 from April and the monthly pension of ₹4,000. There is an enthusiastic atmosphere statewide as pensions are set to be distributed under the NTR Bharosa Scheme.

Andhra Pradesh Information and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi commented on the matter, stating that pensions will be delivered directly to beneficiaries' homes. He criticized the YSR Congress Party, noting that it took them five years to increase the pension by ₹1,000. Additionally, he revealed that the government would soon make a decision regarding volunteers.

Meanwhile, the administrative machinery is making arrangements to ensure 100% pension distribution on the first day in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Secretary Neerab Kumar Prasad has instructed officials to start the distribution from 6 AM. He emphasized that village and ward secretariat staff, along with field staff from other departments, should deliver pensions to beneficiaries' homes.

Furthermore, in Penumaka village of Tadepalli Mandal, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will personally visit the homes of beneficiaries to distribute pensions tomorrow.
