A Special Bond: Ram Charan Fulfills Promise to A.R. Rahman, Attends Kadapa Event

Actor Ram Charan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Game Changer' while also preparing for the shooting of his next project. Starting from November 22nd, he will begin filming in Mysore for his latest movie, directed by Buchi Babu Sana of 'Uppena' fame. The film’s music is being composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman.

On Monday, Ram Charan visited the Kadapa Dargah as a gesture to fulfill a promise he made to Rahman. He attended the 80th National Mushaira Ghazal event held at the Dargah, which Rahman regularly visits every year. This year, Charan had pledged to bring Rahman to the event.

Despite his busy schedule and the fact that he is currently observing the Ayyappa Swamy Deeksha, Ram Charan honored the invitation and attended as the chief guest. Director Buchi Babu Sana also accompanied him on the visit.

Speaking on the occasion, Ram Charan said, “A.R. Rahman mentioned this event to me three months ago. Since I promised to join him, even though I am observing the Ayyappa Deeksha, I made it a point to be here today. I have a deep connection with the Kadapa Dargah. I visited this Dargah a day before the release of 'Magadheera,' which turned out to be a monumental success and a career-defining moment for me. Returning here fills me with immense joy.”
