Key Meeting Between Chief Secretaries of Two Telugu States

A significant step has been taken toward resolving the pending bifurcation issues between the two Telugu states. Earlier, the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh (N. Chandrababu Naidu) and Telangana (Revanth Reddy) met in Hyderabad for preliminary discussions on resolving these issues.

Today, the Chief Secretaries (CSs) of both states held a meeting to continue these deliberations. This meeting is being held at the APIIC office in Mangalagiri. Notably, this is the first such meeting taking place in Andhra Pradesh on bifurcation-related matters.

An officials’ committee is discussing unresolved issues between the two states, focusing on matters raised during the Chief Ministers’ meeting on July 5, 2024. The CSs are delving deeper into these topics to work toward a resolution.
