CM Chandrababu Purchases Five Acres in Velagapudi!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu family has purchased a five-acre plot in the Velagapudi revenue area, part of the Amaravati capital region. The Chief Minister, who has expressed his intention several times to construct his own house in Amaravati after the capital's development, has now acquired this land near the key administrative and judicial hubs of the state.

The plot, measuring approximately 25,000 square yards, is located along the prominent E-6 road. It is surrounded by roads on all four sides and is strategically situated near important landmarks, including judges' residences, the temporary High Court, the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), and residences for government employees. Additionally, the vital Seed Access Road, a crucial link to the capital area, runs near the property.

The plot was previously part of a returnable land allotment belonging to three farmers from a single family. According to reports, payments to these farmers have already been completed. The land will be utilized for multiple purposes, with a portion earmarked for the construction of a residence, while the remaining space will be used for vehicle parking, staff quarters, and a lawn.

For the past decade, Chandrababu Naidu has been residing at a guest house in Undavalli, situated on the banks of the Krishna River and owned by Lingamaneni Estates. This recent purchase signals his plans for a permanent residence in the Amaravati capital region.
