Actress Kadambari Jethwani Case: Arguments Conclude on Vidyasagar's Bail Petition

The case involving actress Kadambari Jethwani, which has caused a significant sensation across the state, sees YSRCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar as the prime accused. Vidyasagar has been in judicial custody for the past 76 days. In this context, lengthy arguments were heard regarding his bail petition in the High Court. The hearings were held consecutively on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Advocates Narra Srinivas and Public Prosecutor Lakshminarayana represented Jethwani and the police, arguing that granting bail to the accused could influence the case's progress. Advocate Narra Srinivas urged the court not to grant bail.

On the other side, senior advocate Niranjan Reddy, representing the accused, contended that Vidyasagar has already been in custody for 76 days and pleaded for bail to be granted.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the High Court has reserved its judgment on the bail petition. The verdict is expected to be announced on December 9.
