Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Pledges Solutions for Kadapa’s Water Woes

During a Parents-Teachers Meeting at a municipal school in Kadapa, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan made notable remarks about the severe water crisis in the region. He expressed surprise at the intensity of the problem, admitting that he did not expect Kadapa to face such a dire situation.

Pawan Kalyan noted that two former Chief Ministers hailed from the Kadapa region, leading him to believe that most local issues would have been resolved. However, witnessing the current condition, he acknowledged that the reality was far from his expectations.

The Deputy Chief Minister announced a budget allocation of ₹45 crore for the Pulivendula drinking water project, assuring that the government is committed to resolving water-related challenges. He emphasized that providing uninterrupted access to clean drinking water remains a top priority for the administration.

Highlighting the historical and cultural significance of Rayalaseema, he dismissed the notion that the area is underdeveloped. He proudly referred to the region as the birthplace of prominent personalities like Annamayya, Yogi Vemana, Puttaparthi Narayanacharyulu, KV Reddy, and Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, emphasizing its legacy of leadership and excellence.
