AP High Court Grants Two-Week Relief to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy

YSRCP senior leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy received relief from the Andhra Pradesh High Court in the TDP office attack case. The court directed the police not to take any coercive action against him for another two weeks.

Sajjala had recently filed a petition seeking anticipatory bail, alleging harassment after the coalition government came to power. He claimed that cases were being registered against him under non-bailable sections to facilitate his arrest, despite the absence of grounds for issuing notices under Section 41A. Therefore, he urged the court to grant him anticipatory bail.

The High Court conducted a hearing on the petition today. After listening to arguments from both sides, the court extended its previous orders for two more weeks and postponed the next hearing accordingly.
