TPCC Chief Clarifies Stance on Allu Arjun's Case Amid Controversy

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that his party holds no grudge against actor Allu Arjun. However, he questioned whether action should not be taken if a woman dies due to a stampede allegedly caused by an event linked to the actor. He also emphasized that Congress played a key role in shifting the film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad.

Mahesh Kumar Goud underscored that the law must proceed, irrespective of the circumstances. He explained that a legal case was filed against Allu Arjun following the unfortunate incident, leading to his arrest and subsequent bail granted by the court.

The TPCC chief clarified that the Congress Party harbors no animosity toward any film star and holds affection for the film industry. He underscored that all legal cases involving film personalities are matters of legal jurisdiction and should be viewed as such.

Goud urged that the case against Allu Arjun should not be attributed to the Congress Party. He criticized Telangana BJP leaders for attempting to link the matter to the ruling party and condemned their statements as baseless.
