Telugu Student Killed in US Road Accident Due to Overspeeding
Another Telugu student has tragically lost his life in a road accident in the United States. Panjala Neeraj Goud, 23, a resident of Connecticut, died in a severe car crash that occurred around 2:20 AM on Monday.
Neeraj was driving a Hyundai Elantra when he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a Sitco gas station and collided with a parked police vehicle. The collision caused severe injuries to a police officer who was inside the patrol car.
Emergency responders rushed both Neeraj and the injured police officer to a nearby hospital. Despite receiving intensive treatment, Neeraj succumbed to his injuries, while the officer remains hospitalized. Medical staff stated that due to the severity of his injuries, the officer is unlikely to resume duty anytime soon.
According to police reports, the car was traveling at an excessively high speed, which was determined to be the primary cause of the accident. Authorities have informed Neeraj’s family about the incident and assured them that efforts are being made to repatriate his body to India at the earliest convenience.
Further details about Neeraj Goud’s background and circumstances surrounding the crash are still awaited.
