His body was discovered in a car parked in the cellar of the apartment where he lived. The incident came to the attention of his family on Sunday.

Bandi Vamshi, aged 25, was the second son of Bandi Rajayya and Lalitha, a couple from Madannapet village in Kamalapur Mandal, Hanumakonda district. Rajayya works as a weaver. Vamshi had traveled to Minnesota, USA, in July of last year to pursue higher education. Alongside his studies, he worked part-time while pursuing a Master of Science degree.

On Sunday morning, other Telugu youth from Hanumakonda district, who also reside in the same apartment complex, discovered Vamshi’s body in the seat of a car parked in the cellar. They immediately informed his parents about the tragedy. The sudden loss of their son has left his parents devastated.

Congress party in-charge of Huzurabad constituency, Voditala Pranav, extended condolences to Vamshi’s family and assured them of his support. He promised to coordinate with the state government to facilitate the repatriation of Vamshi's mortal remains to his native village. The incident has cast a shadow of grief over Madannapet village.
