Residents Panic as Prakasam District Faces Three Days of Tremors
Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh experienced its third consecutive day of mild earthquakes, leaving residents in fear and uncertainty. On Monday morning, at around 11 a.m., a slight tremor was felt in Mundlamuru, continuing the series of seismic events that began over the weekend.
Mild tremors were first reported on Saturday and continued on Sunday, culminating in Monday's incident. These repeated occurrences have caused significant anxiety among the district's population. When the latest tremor struck, many residents, alarmed by the shaking, ran out of their homes in panic.
Local residents expressed confusion and concern over the ongoing events. "We don’t understand what’s happening," said one resident, reflecting the general unease across the affected areas.
